VAN PERSON
2025 DOCUMENTARY MID-FEATURE
DIRECTOR, EDITOR
UNABLE TO AFFORD RENT, AN ASPIRING COMEDIAN MOVES INTO A VAN TO PURSUE DREAMS OF STAND UP SUCCESS
My first feature documentary, Van Person, follows my childhood best friend’s move from small town Missouri to Chicago, IL to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional stand up comedian.
Beginning with his decision to move into a van, the film captures Blake’s first 6 months in the city as he steps up to the mic for the first time, learns the ins and outs of van life, and fails to meet a stranger along the way.
The film is currently being submitted for contention on the festival circuit with a digital release expected to follow.
Starring Blake Worley
Presented by Anybody Who’s Everybody
Produced by Tim Cundy, Ian Geatz, Sam Nickelson
